Brandon University Graduate Admission Applications & Official Document Deadlines 2023/2024.
For Applicants New to Brandon University (For current and past BU students, you may be eligible to move directly to the departmental application, links are below.)
The Admissions Office will begin processing applications for the next academic year beginning October 1st each year. Online applications will only be available until the specified program application deadline dates listed below. Please note the application deadline and the document deadline are the same date. Almost all communications from the Admissions Office will be sent electronically by email. When applying, use an email address account that you check regularly and add us to your safe-sender list.

All students new to BU must also complete a departmental application, links below. Please note that for the Master of Education program, this online application can only be completed once you have received instruction to do so from the Admissions Office, after your Brandon University general application has been cleared.
Master of Education
For new and returning students:
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
- For September – March 1
The Master of Education application is a two-step process.
- Students new to Brandon University must apply and submit all official documentation through Central Admissions by March 1 to complete their application. If you complete your Central Admissions application on or prior to but very near the March 1 deadline, the application will be processed in approximately 1 week or less and you will be emailed clearance for the second application.
- Students cleared as above in step 1 will be given until the deadline of March 15 to complete the secondary online Master of Education application on the Faculty of Education website. While you are waiting for clearance from Central Admissions to move to step 2, please refer to the Education website to prepare documentation needed to upload into that application.
Students who are past graduates of Brandon University that are exempt from completing a new Central Admissions application (step 1 above) may apply directly to the secondary Education application – you must do so by March 15. Please refer to the Faculty of Education website for details of that application, including documentation needed for that application.
