Here is the step-by-step procedures for online application to Capilano University for foreign students.

It’s easy to apply to Capilano University as an international student.

 

Step 1. Apply

To prepare, check Capilano University’s Admission Requirements as well as your desired program for specific program requirements.

Prepare the documents you’ll need to submit in Step 2.

Most programs require proof that you:

Learn about the cost of your education at CapU.

Apply online. The application fee is CAD $135 for international students.

 

Step 2. Submit documents

Scan and email all supporting documents to [email protected], including:

  • high school transcripts
  • all post-secondary transcripts
  • English translations (if documents issued are not in English), and
  • English language proficiency results.

Scanned, unofficial documents are accepted for admissions review and acceptance. However, you must submit original official supporting documents in hard copy before the start of your program.

Note: You will receive an acknowledgment message in your personal email. This message will include your Student ID number and Capilano University email address, with instructions on how to track your application.

Thereafter, all emails will be sent to your CapU email address.

You can check the status of your application in your myCapU account.

 

Step 3. Receive your Letter of Offer and pay the tuition deposit

A Letter of Offer will be emailed to you if your application is successful.

To accept the offer of admission, you must pay a CAD $5,000 tuition and fee deposit by the deadline specified in your offer. This deposit will go toward your first term of study.

Step 4. Receive your Letter of Acceptance and apply for a Study Permit

A Letter of Acceptance will be emailed to you when your tuition deposit is received.

This letter can be used to apply for or renew a Study Permit (and an entry visa, depending on citizenship) from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
